Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (the “Policy”) governs use of the SİMA service (the “Service”) provided at simalabs.app. The Service is operated by Böke Bacakoğlu under the “Sima Labs” brand. SİMA is an AI-assisted facial analysis service. By using the Service you accept this Policy. Violating it results in suspension or termination of your account. This Policy forms an integral part of our Terms of Service.

1. Permitted use

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes, for personal use, and only with face photos of yourself. Your account is personal to you; commercial resale, bulk analysis on behalf of third parties and account sharing are out of scope.

2. Prohibited content — general

You may not upload to the Service, or use the Service to generate, content that is:

• Unlawful or criminal in nature.
• Infringing copyright, trademark or any other intellectual property right.
• Malware, malicious code or files that threaten security.
• Harassing, threatening, hateful, discriminatory or defamatory.
• Misleading, deceptive, spam, or intended to circumvent identity verification.

3. AI visualizations and facial analysis

SİMA analyzes and visualizes only the user’s own face. The before/after images in your report are identity-preserving previews: your facial identity, bone structure and facial proportions remain fixed and are not altered.

The visualizations show style and grooming previews only:

• Hair and beard style: cut, length and beard-design variations.
• Hair color: natural, skin-tone-flattering color suggestions.
• Skincare: the possible effect of care products (for example a cream) on the appearance of your skin.
• Condition (optional): only if you request it, a fitter appearance achievable through regular exercise and nutrition. This is a preview of soft tissue and condition level; it does not touch bone structure.

The following are strictly prohibited and SİMA does not perform them: face-swapping, deepfake generation, impersonating another person, transforming one person into another person, and simulation of surgical or geometric facial changes. The Service is not a pre/post-operative simulator and does not alter facial geometry.

Previews are illustrative; they guarantee no individual outcome and are not a medical result and not medical advice.

Uploading another person’s photo is strictly prohibited — even if that person is someone you know, a celebrity or a public figure. You represent that the person in every photo you upload is you.

4. Prohibited content — sexual content and minors

• Generating — or uploading photos in order to generate — NSFW, obscene, pornographic or sexually suggestive content is prohibited. Any attempt to obtain nude or sexualized output is prohibited.
• Uploading images of anyone under 18 is strictly prohibited. The Service is for users aged 18 and over only.
• Uploading images depicting violence, self-harm, abuse or hate is prohibited.

5. Prohibited use — technical

You may not reverse engineer the Service’s software, attempt unauthorized access to source code or models, circumvent security or rate-limiting measures, obtain automated, scripted, bulk or otherwise abusive access, or place an excessive load on the infrastructure.

6. Enforcement

Depending on the severity of a violation, we may remove your content, refuse an analysis, and suspend or permanently terminate your account without prior notice. Where we consider it necessary, the matter is reported to the competent legal authorities. No refund is issued for accounts terminated for breach of this Policy.

7. Changes and contact

This Policy may be updated from time to time; the current version is published on this page and takes effect when published. Send questions about this Policy, reports of violations, and complaints that an image of you has been used without your consent to support@simalabs.app.
